Teflon-guided HW77/97 tuning piston

Original HW77/97 pistons from Weihrauch with six CNC-milled longitudinal slots for weight optimization. The original weight of approximately 260g has been reduced to approximately 224g. This corresponds to the weight of the previously installed 25mm pistons. The weight reduction results in less recoil and thus improved shooting performance. Installation is simple, but the V0 rating must be checked afterward.

Additionally, an aluminum ring was shrunk onto the bearing for optimized guidance within the system. A high-friction, coated PTFE ring, also known as Teflon, runs inside this. The bronze coating makes the PTFE more resistant to deformation and wear.

Bearing the piston prevents metal-to-metal contact, guides it more precisely and reduces the noise of the shot.

The piston with bearings only fits into a compression sleeve with a standard length of 155mm in variant C (short stroke 20mm). For standard seals, the compression sleeve must be shortened by 10mm to 145mm.
